Isabel de la Torre is a cinematographer specialized in animation. She started as a
commercial and product photographer working for clients such as Philips, Toshiba or
Clean&Clear. She used to go through all the pipeline, from capture to digital retouch.
In 2010 she received a grant to live and study an MFA in Animation and Digital Arts in Singapore for two years. She discovered animation as a new tool to communicate her work.
Back to Spain in 2014 she started her career as a cinematographer in Stop Motion Tv Series like Clay Kids and The Diary of Bita and Cora. She also worked as a director of photography in music videos, commercials and short films like Metamorfosis, nominated to Goya Awards 2020.
Isabel has a sense for projects that need a strong post production and compositing because of her experience in digital imaging. She loves combining photography and animation as a way to tell stories.
