Neus is an award winning cinematographer working worldwide.
She studied Film at ESCAC (Barcelona Film School) and then went to the prestigious NFTS (National Film & Television School) in the UK to study for a Masters in Cinematography.
Her first feature film El Cant del Ocells (Birdsong), directed by Albert Serra, premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and won her the Gaudí Award for Best Cinematography. Since then, she has shot numerous European films, winning numerous awards at International film festivals.
Her collaboration with the director Mar Coll has produced the films Three days with the family, Everyone wants the best for her and the Movistar series Killing the Father. Her latest film A Thief’s Daughter, a first film by Belén Funes, won the Goya for Best New Director; and Neus won Best Cinematography at the Women of Film Festival’20. She has also shot several television series in the UK including Endeavor, Deadwater Fell and Too Close.
She combines her drama work with commercials, music videos and fashion films. She has shot with a wide range of international production companies.
Her style has been defined as an exquisite mixture of naturalism and elegance.
